We
Never Stand Alone
How
fantastic it is to be so close to another that when we have an appeal, a need,
we only need to turn their way and without words know our need is understood,
and we never stand alone.
“Come close to God, and God will come close to
you.”
James 4:8 NLT
This
is the mystery of God, the law of a life dependent on Him in faith. A life
lived every day knowing when we reach out to heaven without one spoken word; we
reach the heart of God before our thought is complete.
Even
in our weakest appeal, when no words can form, He has been drawn closer still. God
always hears the heart’s cry. We need
never to analyze, specialize, or compromise our greatest need—we never stand
alone, God loves us.
How
wonderful to feel we can simply claim His help and promptly, lovingly He is
right beside us.
A
Divine nearness and companionship brings such a sweetness and joy into one’s
life. It is with confidence and peace that we are able to understand, with God,
we never stand alone.
