Perfect Plans
“Good
morning,” I said perhaps a little too cheerfully at such an early hour of the day
to my husband. “What are your plans this morning?”
“I
don’t know yet,” he mumbled on the way to get coffee and speaking barely above
a sleepy whisper. “But I’m alive so its proof God has something in mind for me
to do today.”
“I ask—ask the God of our Master, Jesus Christ,
the God of glory—
to
make you intelligent and discerning in knowing him personally,
your
eyes focused and clear, so that you can see exactly what it is he is calling
you to do.”
Ephesians 1:17-18 Message Bible
God
allows us a fresh start at any point in life. He will give us a new beginning,
a new plan every day— any time and any place.
Sometimes
we set our sights on faraway places to serve Him, when what He is really asking
us to do is begin right where we are standing here and now.
Be
ready to be amazed and refreshed by what God has planned for you today. From
now on, at this moment He will provide a turning point, an open door, a second chance, and a new beginning.
This
is our eternal hope, that regardless of our great plans for today or for the
future, we are in God hands in His perfect plan for our life today.
