Someone Greater than
Mother Nature
The news is full of the powerful acts of “Mother
Nature”, and we cannot pretend to understand it all, but we can trust in the
One who created it all.
As we
witness all things in God’s creation, we know it is a testimony to God’s magnificent
creatorship and they are signposts pointing to Someone greater than “Mother Nature”.
It reveals the God who wants all people of all nations to recognize His
majesty, to worship the One whose infinite creativity and power produces all
these spectacular displays we see and hear about around the natural world.
“The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies
proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after
night they display knowledge. Psalm 19:1-2 NIV
As we appreciate the beauty and the mysteries of
the world, may we always remember to listen closely to the deeper truths of God’s
Word. For God has a heavenly plan in all of it for each one of us. .
For all those who trust the Lord, each will be
rewarded with His comfort, and filled with His peace to face life’s unpredictable
circumstances today, and also to find again and again the great joy in His surprising
and beautiful creation.
